CANADA POST STRIKE ACTION NOTICE

At the time of writing, Canada Post's workers' union is still officially on strike. LETTER MAIL AND PARCEL DELIVERY BY CANADA POST MAY BE DELAYED. HOWEVER, there is currently no work stoppage ocurring at any Canada Post department. Barring local work stoppage affecting mail processing in our region, we are sending all Canada Post-related packages within a normal time frame.
AT ANY TIME, orders sent by untracked letter mail are the responsibility of Canada Post and you should use this method AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Tracked courier shipping is still available through a variety of carriers. Note that we may apply an additional charge to send small orders or to ship to remote regions. We will contact you following your order to make arrangements for any additional shipping charges.
Just a reminder that tracked courier shipping is not necessarily faster, and all shipments are fulfilled in the order in which they are made. If you require rush service, please contact the store to make special arrangements.

TCG CARD SINGLES FULFILLMENT AND SHIPPING TERMS

Dragon Cards & Games makes every reasonable effort to get you the collectible products you want. We love cards, and we know you love them too! We want you to have your cards in a reasonable time and in good condition. There are a few things you need to know about order fulfillment and shipping for cards:
Shipping Rates
If you wish to use Tracked Courier and obtain more than $100 in insurance coverage, contact us at support@dragoncardsandgames.com before or immediately after placing your order. We will provide a quote and obtain your approval before shipping the order.
Packaging
Dragon Cards & Games securely packs each order in the way we would expect if we were ordering cards.
Order Fulfillment and Shipping Time
Orders are fulfilled as soon as possible, but the time frame will vary. We are a small store and our picking times vary due to staffing availability, how busy our storefront is, and how many online orders we are processing. We aim to fulfill each order (before delivery) within 3 business days - however, this can sometimes take a bit longer, especially if your order is large or if we do not have the trained staff available to pick cards for the particular game. If you have an order that you need to receive by a specific date, contact us at support@dragoncardsandgames.com before or immediately after placing your order and we may be able to provide rush service (this is done on a case-by-case basis).
Tracked Courier shipping may not be faster than Letter Mail shipping. We fulfill orders on a first-in-first-out basis, regardless of the shipping method. Tracked Courier shipping is intended to provide a more secure, traceable method of delivery rather than a faster one. If you have an order that you need to receive by the fastest method possible, contact us at support@dragoncardsandgames.com before or immediately after placing your order and we may be able to provide rush service (this is done on a case-by-case basis).
Transit times for common carriers are outside the control of Dragon Cards & Games. Typically, after the carrier receives the package, letter mail takes 1-5 business days within Canada and tracked courier takes 1-3 business days within Canada. These times are estimates and may be longer than described. The carrier will typically receive your package within one business day following your order being marked as shipped. If you have not received your package after 14 business days after receiving the shipping notice, contact us at support@dragoncardsandgames.com.
Certain circumstances beyond our control can affect shipping times, including high order/shipping volumes, holidays, weather, natural disasters, work stoppages, staff illnesses, inventory errors, address errors, order modifications, and special requests.
NOTE: Order processing estimates shown elsewhere on the web site or in emails may be incorrect. Those notices are guides published by Shopify and, unfortunately, we have little control over how they appear due to Shopify's restrictive controls over certain data. This Shipping Policy document should be considered the official policy of our store regarding order fulfillment.
Pickup
Items ordered for pickup can be obtained from the store front counter once you have received your pickup notification email. Expect to present that email, or ID proving your identity, to the store staff in order to obtain your cards.
If you wish to have a third party pickup the order, contact us at support@dragoncardsandgames.com to provide the party's identity ahead of time. It is extremely helpful to also forward the pickup notification email to them so they can present this to the staff.
Loss/Damage/Delay/Levies
Dragon Cards & Games is not liable for orders once the card(s) have left our custody. If you have concerns about the handling or security of items, please review the following:
For pickup orders, consider inspecting your cards for completeness and condition before leaving the store premises.
Product Availability and Missing Cards
Maintaining a large card collection for resale is a challenging job. Occasionally, some cards cannot be fulfilled with your order. This happens primarily due to inventory errors (the card may have been miscounted, misidentified, or miscatalogued), system errors (software glitches may result in an inaccurate inventory database), or other forms of loss (theft, mishandling, fraud, fire/flood). In any case where we cannot provide you with a card you have ordered, we will inform you of the exception and provide the following options:

Order Quantity Adjustments
We reserve the right to adjust the quantities of items ordered. This may occur if we determine that the intention of the order is to take advantage of unfair market arbitrage or to conduct market manipulation. This may also occur if an order is deemed to be for resale purposes - if you are a store or reseller, contact us at support@dragoncardsandgames.com before placing your order.
Pre-orders
Orders containing pre-ordered items will be held until all products in the order have been released for delivery. To avoid delays in the delivery of non-pre-order products, place all pre-ordered products on a separate order.
Returns
See our return policy for details on items that may be eligible for returns. As a rule, TCG card singles (any collectible cards that are purchased "unpackaged") are non-returnable/non-refundable and sold on an "as-is" basis.
Shipping Regions
At this time, Dragon Cards & Games ships TCG card singles to Canada only.
Occasionally, we hear from customers who cannot select shipping as a fulfillment method due to their Canadian mailing address. If you experience this error, contact us at support@dragoncardsandgames.com and we will provide assistance so that you can get your cards. If you are concerned about missing out on some rare items, place your order immediately and select Pickup - we will add a shipping charge and send you a payable online invoice prior to sending your order.
Remote Regions and Oversized Packages
In some circumstances, an order cannot be shipped for a reasonable cost due to its destination, weight, size, or other conditions. In this case, you will be contacted to discuss options for shipping, including revised shipping charges and delivery time estimates.
Sales Tax
All orders are taxed according to your Province or Territory. If you qualify for tax-exempt status, contact us at support@dragoncardsandgames.com prior to placing your order.
We reserve the right to cancel an order at any time for any reason. For reasons not involving fraud or malfeasance, you will receive a full refund for any cancelled order.
